ARCHBOLD — Makena Thiel was magnificent in the circle for Archbold as she tossed a five-inning perfect game leading the Streaks past Delta, 11-0, in Northwest Ohio Athletic League action.
Thiel, who recorded 14 strikeouts out of 15 batters faced in the circle, also contributed with a pair of hits including a double and scoring three runs. Klaire Kern doubled and drove in three runs for the Streaks.
Delta fell to 4-11 overall and 1-5 in NWOAL play.
