Omnibus Club Discusses Plans For Christmas House Walk

September 28, 2022No Comments1 Min Read

The Omnibus Club of West Unity met September 12, 2022 in the home of Pat Maneval.

President Linda Sumner welcomed club members back together after the summer break.

The club members repeated the Pledge of Allegiance and Club Collect. Roll call was answered to the question of “What was your favorite staycation”?

On July 14th the club received a certificate from the clerk’s office by Mayor Leu thanking the club for planting and watering the downtown barrels of beautiful flowers again this summer.

Thank you notes were read from the two high school seniors who were recipients of scholarships presented by the Omnibus Club. The students shared their expectations of college life.

New programs for this coming year 2022 – 2023 were given to members.

The 33rd year of the Christmas House Walk and Craft Show at the Kissell Building were discussed.

The House Walk will feature four houses and cost of the tickets this year will be $7.00.

The Holly Jolly Christmas store will have flyers and presale tickets starting October 8.

After the business meeting, a social time was enjoyed along with refreshments served by Pat Maneval and Peg Schmucker
