OSU Extension Offers Level 2 Food Safety Training/Exam This Winter

OSU Extension has partnered with the Training Achievement Program (TAP) to offer an online version of Level 2 Food Safety Training, which meets all Ohio Department of Health requirements. You can complete the $150 online course at your own speed and at a time that works for you. Once training is completed, you will take a proctored certification exam at OSU Extension – Fulton County. Exams will be offered January 25, February 15, and February 28 in 2017. Pre-registration is required approximately 2-4 weeks prior to exam date. Fulton County OSU Extension invites area cow/calf, dairy & small ruminant producers to attend the Pasture & Rotational Grazing Night on February 9th, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Robert Fulton Ag Center in Wauseon, OH. Topics covered will include: rotational grazing, using summer annuals and cover crops, stockpiling pasture, winter grazing crop residues, pasture management, cow/calf budgeting, and the new Veterinary Feed Directive. The event will be sourced by Al Gahler, Extension Educator, Sandusky County, Mike Estadt, Extension Educator, Pickaway County, and hosted by Eric Richer, Extension Educator, Fulton County. There is no cost for this event, but please RSVP by February 6th, 2017 by calling the Fulton County Extension Office at 419-337-9210. For more information go to http://fulton.osu.edu
