The Wauseon Super Cruise returned to downtown on Tuesday, July 21, drawing more than 200 vehicles and a very large crowd of spectators for an evening of classic cars, specialty vehicles, music, vendors, and community activities.
From classic cars and muscle cars to low riders, rat rods, and custom builds, the streets of downtown were lined with vehicles as visitors spent the evening walking from display to display while talking with owners and fellow enthusiasts.
In addition to the extensive lineup of vehicles, the monthly event once again featured music throughout the downtown area, along with a variety of vendors and local organizations.
Food and refreshments were available as attendees enjoyed the summer evening, fantastic weather, and visited participating businesses.
The Table continued to be part of the monthly event by hosting an art show in partnership with Triangular Processing, giving visitors another attraction to enjoy while downtown.
This year’s cruise season has also marked a new chapter for the organization, following the merger between Wauseon Cruise Night and the Wauseon Downtown Association.
Organizers have previously explained the partnership is an equal merger between the two groups, with this year’s schedule remaining largely unchanged while future opportunities continue to be explored.
In addition to the monthly Super Cruises, the organization continues to host Saturday morning cruise gatherings at Ace Hardware, alongside the Wauseon Farmers Market, creating another opportunity for vehicle owners and community members to gather.
With more than 200 vehicles filling the downtown streets Tuesday evening, the July Super Cruise continued the strong turnout seen throughout the season while bringing together local businesses, organizations, vehicle enthusiasts, and families for another successful night in downtown Wauseon.
