Setting the stage for fairy tales and magic beans, the Montpelier High School performed Into the Woods Jr which brought Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Cinderella to life.

In the classic tale of “be careful what you wish for”, the local baker and his wife wish to have children of their own.

A fearful, ugly witch strikes a deal the couple to fill her wishes of becoming a strikingly beautiful woman in exchange for a few classic items; Rapunzel’s hair, Cinderella’s gold slipper and milky white cow named Milky Way and Riding Hood’s red cape.

Over the river and through the woods, they encounter a few set backs as they battle with evil and good, right from wrong but still wanting to fulfill their own desires. However, love prevails and their wishes come true.
