TINORA 12/23/2013—In 8th grade girls basketball action, the Stryker Lady Panthers fought hard, but were edged out by the Rams of Tinora 34-31.
The scoring per quarter comparison was:
Tinora: 1st 10, 2nd 9, 3rd 9, 4th 6 for a total of 34
Stryker: 1st 4, 2nd 14, 3rd 7, 4th 6 for a total of 31
Haley Doehrmann was the leading scorer for Stryker with 14 points on the afternoon, Kira Petit followed with eight, Sierrah Whitman had four points, Matha Ferguson banked three points, and Madi Myers finished with two points.
Stryker falls to 4-5 on the season with the loss, and the Panthers are now 3-2 in BBC action.
