Panthers Cruise To Easy 13-0 Victory Over Fayette Eagles

STRYKER: April 11– The Edon Bombers played host to Fayette on April 11, downing the visiting Eagles 13-0 in a home shutout.

On the mound for the Stryker Panthers, Freshman Brody Shock recorded the shutout, going the distance in the game allowing just 1 hit on the day. Shock also set down 8 batters in the victory.

Offensively for the Panthers, Dean Beamont smacked a triple for the Panthers, while Colton Benson, Parker Ruffer and Zach Birky each hit for doubles. Shock also was credited with 3 RBI’s on the game, while Zach Tingley drove in 2.

For the Eagles in the loss, Joel Smith went 3 innings giving up 10 hits and 7 runs. Casen Burkholder also saw action, pitching an inning, and allowing 5 hits and 6 runs.
