August 28th-ARCHBOLD: Against the likes of Pettisville, Bryan, and Liberty Center, the Stryker Boys Junior High Cross Country Team came out in second place.
Forty-two runners took part in the boys’ meet, with the Panthers holding seven places in the top half of runners. Setting the pace for the Stryker Boys was Izayah Ferguson, who was the fifth runner to cross the finish line at 13:01. Seventh place also belonged to the Panthers, as Logan Boetz ran a 13:27. Emanuel Villanueva claimed twelfth place with a time of 14:03.
There were eighteen runners in the girls’ heat. Stryker took ninth and seventeenth place, thanks to Abigail Brice’s 16:30 and Emily Banks’ 21:18, respectively.
