Patrick Michael SchuttePatrick Michael Schutte, 44, of rural Waldron, died unexpectedly early Monday morning, May 9, 2016. He was born May 1, 1972, to Terry L. Schutte and Kathleen Kay Kope.

Pat grew up in the Morenci and Fayette area and graduated from Gorham Fayette High School Class of 1991. He was a skilled carpenter in the construction field, and most recently worked with the Amish communities in Hillsdale County.

Pat is remembered by his family as a music lover, specifically Johnny Cash, who enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. He was also an avid NASCAR follower, and Detroit Tigers and Lions fan. His abrupt passing has left a void in the hearts of many who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his mother, Kay (Jerry) Bailey of Waldron; his father, Terry (Janet) Schutte of Bryan, OH; a daughter, Elaina Schutte (and Dekota Borton) of Roanoke, IN; a brother, James (Tina) Schutte of Archbold, OH; a sister, Annette (Troy) Stantz of Montpelier, OH; two grandsons, Jayden and Karter; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.

A funeral service for Pat will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at the Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Gene Sugg officiating. Family interment will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 2:00 p.m. until the service begins.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider memorial donations in honor of Pat to his family. Friends can share memories and words of comfort with the family online at www.eaglefuneralhomes.com.
