Pettisville Blackbirds & Skylar Lantz Of Fayette Survive D-III Liberty Center Districts

LIBERTY CENTER – The October 20 Liberty Center District race for Division III District 1 saw four BBC teams and the Montpelier Locos vying for a chance to advance to the Regionals at Tiffin. Pettisville, Edon, North Central and Fayette all took to the course, but the heavy competition quickly pared down the local list.
Dominic Frey placed ninth to lead the Pettisville Blackbirds to fourth place, the final team slot for Regional qualification. Fayette finished 6th, Edon 12th and North Central 13th, removing all from further contention, with but a single exception. Skylar Lantz of Fayette finished 13th overall, granting him an individual pass to advance to the October 27 Tiffin Regionals.
