Many Pettisville FFA Members participated in the Fulton County Junior Fair this year. Members exhibited still projects, volunteered at local food stands, showed animals, and participated in contests.

Throughout the week of the fair, a total of 75 Pettisville FFA Members, parents, and alumni members volunteered at the Fulton County Dairy Association, Fulton County Pork Producers, and Fulton County Cattle Feeders stands.

FFA Members exhibited 86 still projects. This included posters, plants, metalworking projects, stools, and cutting boards that they have been working on throughout the year. These projects were displayed in the Junior Fair Building throughout the week.

Karter Zachrich, a Pettisville FFA member, showed his lambs through FFA. He won Grand Champion Breeding Ewe. This was Karter’s 3rd year showing sheep at the fair through FFA.

Olivia Miller, Lily Wiemken, Jenna Norman, Karter Zachrich and Ben Nagel participated in the Livestock Judging Contest.

They evaluated classes of beef feeder calves, dairy heifers, goats, sheep, and pigs, and then answered questions and placed the classes. Ben placed third individually.
