MONTPELIER: May 10 – The Pettisville Blackbirds and the Montpelier Locomotives were two of the six local schools going for gold at the 2014 Lamberson Invitational in Montpelier on May 10. Pettisville led the locals, amassing 98 team points to take second place at the event, while the host Montpelier squad finished in fourth with 75.5 points.
Fayette took tenth place with 22 points, and Hilltop finished in eleventh with 8. The Stryker Panthers and the North Central Eagles were shut out in points competition.
