Pettisville Girls Take First, Boys Second At BBC Jamboree

(September 16th, 2014)-FAYETTE: The Pettisville Cross Country Teams competed in the first of three BBC Jamborees. It was the Lady Blackbirds who won the girls heat, while the boys had a strong showing in second place.

The Lady Blackbirds had three top ten finishers in the race. Alexa Leppelmeier took first place with a 21:29. Nichole Foor was right behind her teammate, finishing second at 21:42. Fellow Blackbird Elizabeth Miller was the seventh runner to cross the finish line, claiming a time of 23:30.

The boys of Pettisville finished in second place at the event, fueled by two top five finishes. Kyle Lantz brought second place to the Blackbirds, crossing the line at 18:13. Jacob Hauter earned fourth place with at ime of 18:54. Nathan Siller finished twelfth with a time of 20:13.
