(September 11th, 2014)-MONCLOVA: In junior high soccer action, The Blackbirds of Pettisville traveled to Monclova to do battle with Monclova Christian. What resulted was a 3-1 victory for the Blackbirds, avenging a 4-3 loss to Monclova earlier in the season.
Breet Coopshaw scored 2 goals for Pettisville, and Peyton Miller scored 1. Assists were made by Elias Rash, Detric Yoder, and Mitchell Avina.
This match completed a three game week for the Blackbirds, who went 2-0-1 during that stretch. Their record now stands at 3-1-1.
