(September 15th, 2014)-TOLEDO: The Blackbirds of Pettisville made the trip to Toledo to take on Emmanuel Christian. The journey was worth it, as Pettisville cruised to an 8-0 victory in the contest.

Mitchell Avina got the scoring started for the Blackbirds with just two minutes coming off the clock to start the game, thanks to an assist by Detric Yoder. The next two goals were made by Felipe Chavez, while Yoder himself joined in on the fun, scoring two goals of his own to close out the half. Avina and Chavez, along with Brett Coopshaw, provided the second half scoring for Pettisville.

Aside from Yoder, Theory Eash, Coopshaw, and Chavez all made assists in the game. Keepers Graeme Jacoby and Elias Rash fended off multiple attempts on their goal, insuring the shutout.
