Pettisville Junior High Wins At Home

September 22, 2014Updated:December 31, 2020No Comments1 Min Read

(September 18th, 2014)-PETTISVILLE: Pettisville played host to visiting Trinity Lutheran on Thursday. The Blackbirds were a bit less than hospitable, however, as they took down Trinity 3-1.

Early into the match, Blackbird Mitchell Avina scored the game’s first goal. Trinity tightened up their defense, holding off further scoring in the first half. Yet both Brett Coopshaw and Detric Yoder were able to find their way into the Trinity net in the second half. The visiting boys of Trinity did manage to get a goal past Pettisville Keeper Graeme Jacoby as well.

Pettisville improved to 5-1-1 on the season.
