(September 23rd, 2014)-WEST UNITY: Hosting the Lady Blackbirds of Pettisville, the Hilltop Junior Varsity Team prepared itself for an intense BBC match-up. Home court advantage wasn’t enough to earn a victory against a strong Pettisville team, as the Cadets lost in straight sets.
Game 1 belonged to Pettisville. The Lady Blackbirds won the set 25-14. Down early, the Lady Cadets refused to give up. Despite the increased quality of play, the girls of Hilltop still couldn’t take the set, losing 19-25, making Pettisville the victor.
