Pettisville Lady Blackbirds Chase North Central From Their Own Gym

PIONEER – The North Central Lady Eagles hosted Pettisville on October 4 and found themselves outmatched, falling in straight sets, 25-18, 25-21, and 25-23.
Emily Hubby had a big night for the Lady ‘Birds with 11 kills while also counting a team high 9 assists, team high 9 digs, and scoring 1 ace. Claire Fry led Pettisville in service with 2 aces; Fry also contributed 2 digs and 8 assists to the winning effort. Emily Eicher was tough at the net, leading the team with 2 blocks; Eicher also added 1 ace, 1 dig, and 2 kills. Ashlynn Waidelich scored 1 ace and 5 kills and also counted 2 digs while Devon Friend added 1 kill of her own as well as 1 block.

Carley Hoffmire and Jordyn Pursel each counted 4 digs with Pursel adding 1 ace and 5 kills as well. Dana Fricke led the team with 12 kills and counted 1 ace, 1 dig, and 1 block while Stephanie Hubby and Emily Kauffman added 5 and 7 digs respectively and Molly Burner scored 1 kill.

Bralyn Wyrick had a huge game for North Central, leading the team with 7 kills, 5 blocks, and 9 digs. McKayla Swank racked up a team high 9 assists as well as 2 blocks while Brittany Laney counted 5 digs and Shaylee Oyer scored 6 kills and racked up 6 digs. Abbey Litzenberg scored 2 kills and had 2 blocks and 6 digs while Tiana Wheeler had 2 kills and 2 blocks.
