PETTISVILLE – The Lady ‘Birds hosted the Fayette Eagles on September 13. It looked close at times, but Pettisville won in straight sets, 25-17, 25-23, and 25-13.
Emily Hubby led the Blackbirds with 16 kills as well as 1 ace, 4 digs, 1 block, and 13 assists. Claire Fry also had 1 ace on the night as well as a team high 16 assists, 4 digs, and 2 kills. Ashlynn Waidelich had 1 dig, 11 kills, and 1 block while Carley Hoffmire added 5 digs and 2 kills of her own. Devon Friend had 1 assist and 1 kill in the contest while Molly Bruner contributed 1 ace. Emily Eicher racked up 4 digs along with 1 assist and 6 kills. Dana Fricke had 5 kills in the match while Emily Kauffman led the team with 14 digs.
