Pettisville Lady Blackbirds Take Down Hicksville Lady Aces On The Road

HICKSVILLE: January 11, 2014 – The Pettisville Lady Blackbirds easily dispatched the Hicksville Lady Aces on the road on Saturday, January 11, prevailing by the score of 64-24.

For the Lady Blackbirds on the night, Dana Fricke powered Pettisville’s domination of the Lady Aces, scoring 29 points in the game. Mikayla Avina chipped in 14 for the night while Lauren Hostetler followed up with 10 points. Also on the board for the Lady Blackbirds, Jordyn Pursel and Audra Klopfenstein each had 4, and Mikayla Crouch rouded out the scoring with 2.

As a team, the Lady Blackbirds shot 40 percent from the field while going 7 for 10 from the free throw line. The Lady Blackbirds also out-rebounded the Lady Aces 37-22.

The victory brings the Pettisville Lady Blackbirds to 10-2 on the season while remaining at 4-1 in the BBC.
