For the Lady Blackbirds on the night, Dana Fricke powered Pettisville’s domination of the visiting Lady Bulldogs, scoring 26 points in the game. Mikayla Avina chipped in 16 for the night while Lauren Hostetler followed up with 13 points. Also on the board for the Lady Blackbirds, Jordyn Pursel had 3 while Audra Klopfenstein got on the board with 2 on the game.

As a team, the Lady Blackbirds shot 40 percent from the field while going 9 for 16 from the free throw line. The Lady Blackbirds also out-rebounded the Lady Bulldogs 21-17.

According to Head Coach Jason Waladvogel, “I thought we played one of our smartest games tonight with several people stepping up throughout the game. I am really proud of the way the girls handled the game, especially on the offensive end of the floor. Swanton came ready to play and shot the basketball very well.”

The victory brings the Lady Blackbirds to 11-2 on the season and remains at 4-1 in the BBC.
