September 4th-STRYKER: Taking to the road, the Lady Blackbirds challenged Stryker in their first BBC match of the year. It was a successful journey for Pettisville, as they were able to walk away with the win.
In game 1, Stryker tried to keep pace with Pettisville, but fell behind 17-25. In the second set, the Blackbirds began to take over the match. They won the game 25-11. Pettisville didn’t let up in game 3, and took the set 25-10.
Jordyn Pursel had 11 digs, 10 kills, and 3 aces for Pettisville. Teammate Kate Kauffman added 16 assists, 12 digs, and 2 aces. Teagan Kauffman served up 10 aces to go along with her 11 digs and 1 kill. Dana Fricke made 12 kills, 2 digs, and 2 aces in the victory as well.
Maddie Uribes led the Lady Panthers with 4 assists, 2 blocks,and 1 kill. Audra Rupp was 11/13 hitting with 3 kills and made 3 blocks as well. Brittany Breier also nailed 3 kills for Stryker.
