(October 6th, 2014): In their last match of the season, the Junior High Pettisville Soccer team defeated Maumee Valley Country Day 4-2.
Brett Coopshaw scored the game’s first goal, with an assist from Mitchell Avina. Less than a minute later, Feilipe Chavez capitalized on a nice pass from Theory Eash to score its second. Avina himself scored thanks to an assist from Detric Yoder. Yoder himself scored on a header he made off of a corner kick by Eash.
Pettisville finishes the season at 10-1-1. The advancing Eighth Graders ended their junior high career at 23-1-1.
