The Pioneer Village Council met at 7 p.m. on Monday September 11, 2023. After the pledge of allegiance, Mayor Kidston called the meeting to order.

The minutes of the Aug. 14, 2023 meeting were accepted as presented, as was the financial report and payment of the bills.

The mayor shared that Sept. 22 will see a Homecoming Parade at 5:30 p.m., and Halloween will be held on October 31 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Administrator Fiser shared that the substation transformers were delivered earlier that day, and that the village has two contractors looking to build eight new homes.

Councilor Fiser shared that the Chamber Fall Fest will be held downtown at the park on October 7th with lots of activities for the whole family.

Council then had the mayor leave while they entered into executive session to discuss impending litigation before the meeting was adjourned.
