The residents of Stryker have a unique opportunity to leave a mark that will last by purchasing a brick for $75 from the village.

The bricks, located outside of the senior center, right next to the village administration office near the American flag, are going to be engraved by Fackler Memorial Company in groups of 6-10 when the weather allows. It cannot be wet or cold out for the engraving to take place.

It was decided that the bricks would be available to any Stryker resident in honor of someone instead of in memory of someone to allow bricks to be purchased to commemorate the living as well.

The bricks will feature a tiered system, wherein veterans, police officers, firefighters, and first responders will be placed first and foremost, followed by village officials and teachers, and then residents.
