A Delta Man was sentenced on May 2, 2016, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman. Timothy Printke, II, age 21, previously pled guilty to Burglary. On May 6, 2015, he entered a home with the purpose to commit a criminal offense. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Mr. Printke to 3 years of community control and ordered him to pay prosecution costs and appointed attorney fees, have no contact with the victim, stay out of bars/taverns, not possess or consume alcohol or any illegal substance, seek and maintain employment, and successfully complete the SEARCH Program. Failure to comply could result in Mr. Printke spending 24 months in prison.
A Metamora, Ohio man was sentenced on May 4, 2016 in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman. Michael A. Miller, age 20, previously pled guilty to Attempted Corrupting Another With Drugs, Sexual Battery, Failure to Appear, and Menacing by Stalking. On or about September 9, 2014, Mr. Miller attempted to furnish marijuana to a juvenile and engaged in sexual conduct with a person knowing that the person was substantially impaired. He also failed to appear for a pre-trial conference on December 29, 2014, and on August 21, 2014, he engaged in a pattern of conduct that caused a minor to believe Mr. Miller would cause physical harm or mental distress to that person. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Mr. Miller to serve 58 months in prison in his attempted corrupting another with drugs, sexual battery, and failure to appear cases, to be served consecutively with the ten-month prison term imposed by his menacing by stalking case, for a total prison term of 68 months. The Court ordered that Mr. Miller pay any fees and all prosecution costs. Mr. Miller was found to be a Tier III sex offender, which requires address registration and verification for life, with in-person verification every 90 days with the sheriff of all counties in which he resides.
FULTON COUNTY SHERIFF
Sheriff Roy E. Miller announces that the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Conducted a Traffic Enforcement Blitz that ran April 28th through April 30th. Deputies who worked this Traffic Enforcement Blitz made 21 traffic stops and issued 5 citations. The citations issued were for 4 speed violations and driving under a revoked or suspended license. Deputies also issued 22 warnings during this Blitz. The Traffic Enforcement Blitzes are paid for from a grant that the Sheriff’s Office received from the Ohio Department of Public Safety. Sheriff Miller and his deputies are dedicated to protecting the citizens of Fulton County and the motorists who travel its highways. This grant allows for extra patrol to enforce traffic laws that will increase the safety of motorists on the roadway in areas that are prone to a higher number of serious and fatal crashes.
