Priscilla L. Wolff, 80, of Montpelier, passed away Saturday afternoon at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on Oct. 4, 1937 near Montpelier to Earl L. and Nina A. (Zigler) Stantz. Priscilla graduated from Montpelier High School in 1955. She married James A. Wolff on Oct. 15, 1955 in Metz, Indiana, and he preceded her in death April 13, 2001.
She was a member of the Madison Church of God in Montpelier. Priscilla was a homemaker and retired as the manager of Miller’s Speed Queen Laundry in Montpelier. She enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her
grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, James (Marie) Wolff of Edon, Douglas L. Wolff of Bryan and Gloria (Dennis) Reader of Bryan; five grandchildren, Eric Wolff, Angie Coles, Amber Wolff, Ashely Wolff and Jessica Reader; and four great grandchildren, Kelan and Harper Wolff and Ian and Evan Coles. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; brother, Richard E. Stantz; and sister Viola N. Clark.
Visitation for Priscilla will be from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, May 7 at the Thompson-Geesey Funeral Home on Empire Street in Montpelier. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Walter Hicks to officiate. Interment will follow at Edon Cemetery.
