MONTPELIER – The Delta Lady Panthers delivered a 10-3 NWOAL hurting on the Montpelier Lady Locomotives on April 15.

Delta put up nine unanswered runs before Montpelier replied with two in the home half of the fourth. The hometown girls added another run in the fourth, but that came after Delta also put a run across.

Lauren Dye took the complete game loss, giving up 10 runs, 7 earned on 16 hits, mowing down 6 via the K.

Regan Steffes had 2 singles and a double for the 1-7/0-1 Lady Locos. Marinna Mercer had a pair of base hits, Wendy Duchene had a double, and Christina Prather, Christy Duchene and Sydney Houk each had a single.
