AWARDED … Rebecca Rush receiving the scholarship from Lowell Beaverson.Each year the Fayette Lions Club awards two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors from Fayette High School. The awards are given based on the student’s academic grades, school activities, community service and leadership.
Rebecca Rash, a freshman at the University of Toledo, received her cash award upon the completion of her first term. Lowell Beaverson, Lions Club Treasurer, presented her check during the term break.
Rebecca is in the College of Business and Innovation with a minor in pre-accounting.
