Edon’s Riley Bloir was honored on National Student Athlete Day on April 6th in a contest sponsored by the National Consortium for Academic and Sports (NCAS) and Chupp-Patten Insurance Agency.
The goal of the organization is to honor our athletes who exemplify leadership and demonstrate a positive role model for today’s youth. In the contest, the student-athlete with the most “LIKES” on their profile on the Chupp-Patten Insurance Agency Facebook page by April 3rd would be deemed the winner. Riley received 140 likes with North Central’s Mikey Cummins coming in second with 77 likes.
“I feel it is important to show public support to our hard-working students on and off the court/field for all they do within their school and community”, said Karrie Patten of Chupp-Patten Insurance Agency.
