Robert D. Partee, age 65, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 12:06 P.M. on Friday, March 20, 2020, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan.

Mr. Partee was a 1972 graduate of Bryan High School and worked at The Aro Corporation for twenty years as a machinist and was also a union representative.

After surviving a battle with cancer, Robert attended Northwest State Community College and became a licensed practical nurse and was employed by Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Med-Surg for nearly ten years.

He was an avid reader, loved music, and in his younger days was a drummer with his band DDT. He also had a beautiful voice and was a wonderful singer who enjoyed doing karaoke around the area. Most of all he loved Michigan and traveling to the Upper Peninsula.

Robert D. Partee was born on September 23, 1954, in Bryan, the son of Donald R. and Ellen Doris (Murray) Partee. He married Beth Ann Replogle in June of 1973, and she preceded him in death in January of 1986.

Survivors include two daughters, Karin (Jeff Lawson) Swietzer, of Archbold, Ohio, and Jessica Partee, of Bryan; one sister, Carol (Robert) Vasko, of Bryan; two grandchildren, Seth Ryan Foth and Kylie Beth Swietzer; and his stepmother, Jane Partee, of Bryan. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, there will be no visitation and private interment will take place in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. A memorial service celebrating his life will be conducted at a later date.

Memorials are requested to the American Diabetes Association.
