Want to know more about the Butchering Days of a time long past? We have the afternoon set aside for you to reminisce about the days of butchering on the farm. Mr. Roger Helberg will be at the German Lutheran Heritage Museum to tell us all about it…..and he’ll give the listeners in the audience a chance to tell of their experiences of butchering.
Roger has a keen interest in the butchering process used in the early and middle of the last century. The program will be held at the German Lutheran Heritage site in The Lutheran Social Services building on Sunday February 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm. LSS is located across from the Four County Career Center on Ohio #66, south of Archbold. Coffee cake and drinks will be served.
You do not need to be a member of German Lutheran Heritage to attend. This meeting is free and open to the public. Guests are always welcome. Visit us on our Facebook page: German Lutheran Heritage of Northwest Ohio.
