(Relocated To Ohio In 2005)

Ronald Crivello, age 71, passed away on Sunday afternoon, December 8, 2024, at Parkview Bryan Hospital, surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer.

Ronald was born on November 19, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Anthony and Bertha (Plowucha) Crivello and the younger brother of Dennis Crivello.

He grew up in Brooklyn, eventually finding his way to New Jersey where he met his wife, Karen, and settled in Cliffwood Beach.

He enjoyed working with his hands, woodworking and tinkering with computers. He was a loyal New York Yankees fan and enjoyed playing baseball, himself, as a child.

He was a very hard working father, husband and a great provider for his family. He retired from Staten Island Department of Sanitation in 2005 and relocated to Ohio. He had a short career in shipping until injuries forced him back into retirement.

With some extra time on his hands, he spent time watching his grandchildren grow, gardening and perfecting his culinary skills. He had a lifelong love of Elvis, Frank Sinatra and Jay and the Americans. He took any opportunity to burst into song.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Karen Crivello, of Bryan; his daughters, Stephanie (Matt) Ulrich, of Bryan, Danielle (Casy) Douglass, of Montpelier and Catherine (Jon) Davis, of Bryan; 8 grandchildren, Natalie, Tyler, Noah, Clayton, Trenton, Keagan, Kellen and Landon; his brother, Dennis (Linda) Crivello, of South Carolina and niece and nephew, Kim and Jesse. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Bertha Crivello; his son, Nicholas Crivello and a nephew, Scott.

He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, loving father and grandfather who always put himself last.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined by the family. His arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.

“And now, the end is near and so I face the final curtain.
My friend, I’ll say it clear, I’ll state my case, of which I’m certain.
I’ve lived a life that’s full, I traveled each and every highway.
And more, much more, than this, I did it my way.”
-Frank Sinatra-
