Ruth A. Whitten, age 74, of Wauseon passed away late April 7, 2016. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a waitress for many years at Keisers Restaurant in Monclova and was also a waitress for the former Partner’s Cafe in Wauseon.

Mrs. Whitten was born in Toledo on July 27, 1942 the daughter of the late Elza and Nellie (Holland) Robertson. On October 21, 1961 she married William Whitten and he survives.

Surviving is her Husband, William, daughters; Sue Andrews of Delta, Luane (Lester) Baumer of Wauseon, sons; Bob (Kim) Whitten of Swanton, Rick (Louann) Whitten and Bill Whitten both of Wauseon. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death besides her parents were brothers; Larry and Louis Robertson, sister; June and grand-daughters; Cassie Schroeder and Elizabeth Floering.

A time of fellowship and sharing will be held from 3:00-6:00pm on Sunday April 17, 2016 at Tinnany’s Cafe in Wauseon. The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.GrisierFH.com
