Sandra K. Turner (1944 – 2016)

sandra-k-turnerSandra K. Turner, age 72, of Wauseon passed away Saturday November 5, 2016 in her home following a brief illness. Prior to her retirement she had worked for I.A.C. In Wauseon as an Injection Molder.

Mrs. Turner was born in Liberty Center, Ohio on June 11, 1944 the daughter of the late Leo and the late Ruth (Demaline) Steward. On July 25, 1975 she married Gerald Turner and he preceded her in death in 2008. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Wauseon where she had been an active volunteer.

Surviving are children; Roberta York of Zanesville, Ohio,Glenda (Charles) Merrick of Deshler, OH, Leo (Cindy) York of Cut Bank, Montana, Rita (Paul of Delta) Harpring of Fremont, Ohio, and Dawn (Brett) Kolb of Wauseon. Also surviving is brother, Richard Steward of Toledo, 16 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren and sister, Sadonna (Ernie) Colon of Wauseon. Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents were step-son; Jerry Lee Turner and step-daughter, Dianna Weber.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Thursday November 10, 2016 at the First Christian Church in Wauseon with Pastor Mary Jo Bray and Pastor Ralph Wearstler officiating. Interment will be private. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville FL, 32256. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.GrisierFH.com. The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
