Friday, December 9 Scoring Summaries

GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL

Stryker 61, Hilltop 26

It was a 2-point third quarter that proved disastrous for the Lady Cadets in their BBC loss to the Panthers. Only Ariana Brown was able to make one basket, as Stryker connected for 20 points during the quarter. The Panthers had three players in double figures led by 13 points for Haley Doehrman. Taylor Haines and Emma Grime contributed with 10 points apiece in the win. Becca Miller led Hilltop with eight points.

North Central 41, Edon 35

The Lady Bombers took 14 more shot attempts but were good on just 12 of 53 of them compared to 14 of 39 for the Lady Eagles. Makayla Hayes was 5 of 15 from two-point range, and eight of 13 from the foul line to lead North Central with 18 points. The Lady Bombers were led with two double-figure scorers in Eliza Zulch with 12 and Hannah Fogel with 10.


Pettisville 36, Montpelier 22

The Blackbirds continue to win with the 14-point BBC victory.  Morgan Leppelmeier scored 14 o the Pettisville points with four twos and two threes. The Lady Locomotives could only muster eight second-half points in the loss. Leading Montpelier were the duo of Marley Eich and Landri McKelvey with six points apiece.

GIRLS JUNIOR VARSITY BASKETBALL

Edon 36, North Central 20

No game stats submitted.

Pettisville 22, Montpelier 17

Danielle King dropped in nine points for the Blackbirds in the five-point win over the Locomotives. Kamryn Schlosser and Kaylea Peffley contributed four points apiece to lead Montpelier.
