Scott Allen Hornung, age 57, of Bryan, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his home. Scott was a craftsman. He enjoyed motor sports and was an avid hunter. Scott enjoyed the company of his beloved dog, Lena. Scott was born August 15, 1962 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Lawrence and Margaret (Rickels) Hornung.
He is survived by his daughter, Bobbie Jo (Daniel Reynolds) Starnes, of Huntertown, Indiana; son, Angelo (Heather) Hornung, of Montpelier; grandchildren, Gavin, Devin and Danica Starnes, Brendan Reynolds, MiKayla and Mallory Hornung and siblings, Cathy (Steve) Hoehn, of Ottoville, Ohio, Larry Hornung, of West Unity and April St. Aoro, of Zimmerman, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service to celebrate Scott’s life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. at the Kunkle United Brethren Church, 400 Angola Street, Kunkle, Ohio 43531 with Pastor Dan VanArsdalen officiating. A time to visit and share stories of Scott’s life will be held following the service until 3:00 P.M. Scott will be laid to rest at Floral Grove Cemetery near West Unity, Ohio.
