VARSITY BASEBALL
Archbold 16 Swanton 6 (5 innings)
Archbold saw Swanton rally from a 6-0 hole to tie the game at 6-6 before the Bluestreaks put nine runs on the board in the fifth frame to secure the win. DJ Newman led the Archbold (13-4, 4-2 in NWOAL) offense with a double, home run and racked up five RBIs in the game. Trent Weigel was the catalyst for Swanton (3-15, 1-5) by going 3-3 with three RBIs.
Bryan 5 Patrick Henry 2
Four Golden Bears had two hits each as they stayed in contention for at least a share of the league title after a 5-2 win over Patrick Henry (9-10, 2-4 in NWOAL). Quinn Brown, one of the four Bryan (7-10, 5-1) players with two hits, also added two RBIs.

Wauseon 12 Liberty Center 4
Wauseon 12-4, 6-0 in NWOAL) secured at least a share of their 8th NWOAL baseball title with a 12-4 win at home over Liberty Center (3-14, 1-5). Wauseon put up 16 hits led by Connar Penrod who went 3-3 with three RBIs while Eli Delgado, Kolton DeGroff, Clay Stump, and Cameron Cantu had two hits apiece.
North Central 9 Hilltop 3
Leading 5-3 going to the bottom of the sixth, North Central (10-7, 7-1 in BBC) tallied four runs to put the game away and get a 9-3 win over Hilltop (3-15, 3-5). Quin Burt topped the Eagles by going 2-3 with two RBIs while Connor Gendron and Zack Hayes knocked in two runs each. Isaac Baumgartner had a hit and drove in a pair of runs for Hilltop.

VARSITY SOFTBALL
Swanton 5 Archbold 1
Swanton posted three runs in the third inning to take the lead and went to a 5-1 victory at Archbold. Aricka Lutz paced the Bulldogs (13-4, 4-2 in NWOAL) with a double and three RBIs while Archbold (8-8, 2-4) got a hit each from Reagan Kohler, Breanna Boysel, Ella Bowman, and Addison Ziegler in the loss.
Evergreen 20 Delta 1 (5 innings)
Breanna Huffman hit a grand slam and drove in five runs and Macy Chamberlin hit two homers to drive in four to lead Evergreen (10-7, 5-1 in NWOAL) to a 20-1 win over Delta (0-16, 0-6). Skylee Raker added a 3-3 night for the Vikings, who put the game away with an 11-run second inning.
Bryan 10 Patrick Henry 1
The Golden Bears had 15 hits led by a 4-4 game from Scout Smith as they clinched at least a share of the NWOAL with a 10-1 in over Patrick Henry. Addie Arnold and Alexandra Vreeland combined in the circle to allow just five hits and record 13 strikeouts for Bryan (17-1, 6-0 in NWOAL).
Edgerton 24 Holgate 1 (5 innings)
The Bulldogs exploded for 17 runs in the fifth inning to wrap-up a mercy rule win over Holgate. Lola Giesige was 3-4 (three singles) for Edgerton (10-10, 3-2 in GMC) followed by Avery DeGryse’s 2-4 (single, double) night and Holly Stark went 2-4 with a pair of doubles.
Hilltop 30 Pettisville 0 (5 innings)
Lana Baker tossed a perfect game and the Cadets clubbed four home runs as they rolled past Pettisville (6-6, 4-4 in BBC) 30-0. Lana Baker also contributed four of the 26 hits on the night for Hilltop (18-3, 8-0) with Hannah Riley knocking in four runs, Alyssa Momyer had four RBIs and Kodi Brenner connected on two home runs and finished with four RBIs.
Bryan 3 Montpelier 0
In the second game of the night, Addie Arnold pitched a complete game one-hitter with 14 strikeouts to lead Bryan past Montpelier (4-13) 3-0. Arnold also led Bryan (18-1) at the plate by going 2-3 with an RBI.
