Stephen “Steve” W. Kepler, 61, of Bryan, Ohio passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born May 15, 1960 in Bryan, Ohio, son of the late William W. and Dona L. (Abel) Kepler.
Steve was a 1978 graduate of Bryan High School. He married Debra D. Sanders on May 5, 1979 in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives.
Steve currently worked as a delivery driver at AutoZone, and previously worked as an AutoCAD designer at Sauder Manufacturing, and as a delivery driver at Bryan Times.
He was also previously the co-owner of Prospect Acres Photography with his wife Debra. He was a devoted member of the Bryan Church of the Nazarene.
In his free time, Steve enjoyed spending time with his family, creating art, woodworking, and woodturning – owning a business called Hummingbird’s Nest.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Debra Kepler of Bryan, Ohio; three children, Stephanie (Alan) Audette of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Renee (Tyler) Easter of Batavia, Ohio, and Chester (Renee) Kepler of El Cajon, California; nine grandchildren, Austin Audette, Caleb Audette, Sam Audette, Emriah Audette, Katie Audette, Eli Easter, Emmett Easter, Caiden Kepler and Mekenna Kepler; three sisters, Karen (Charles) Hill of Bryan, Ohio, Linda (Steve) Warner of Bryan, Ohio and Marge (Jon) Cooley of Montpelier, Ohio; two brothers, Walter (Mary) Kepler of Bryan, Ohio and Richard “Mike” Kepler of Aurora, Colorado; uncle, Richard (Sharon) Kepler of Bryan, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Steve W. Kepler will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio. Funeral Services for Steve will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Bryan Church of the Nazarene, 312 Townline Road, Bryan, Ohio 43506 with Pastor Jared Burgess officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery, Bryan, Ohio.
