(September 16th, 2014)-FAYETTE: Fayette hosted a BBC Jamboree in junior high cross country action. Boys and girls ran together, totaling 48 competitors in all. The Panthers of Stryker had respectable showings in the race.
The Lady Panthers finished in third place as a unit. Abigail Grice ran a 15:16 for the team. Fellow Stryker runner Emily Banks added a time of 19:20 to the effort.
For the boys of Stryker, who finished third as a team, Izayah Ferguson placed third in the race, running an 11:48. Emanuel Villanueva’s 12:45 was good for eleventh place for the Panthers. Just behind him, teammate Logan Boetz earned twelfth place, clocking in at 12:49. Tristin Sampson took home thirteenth place for Stryker with a time of 12:57.
