(September 13th, 2014)-PATRICK HENRY: Taking to the road, the girls of Stryker competed in a tri-match in Patrick Henry, where they took on the home town Patriots, as well as the Rams of Tinora.
Tinora was up first for the Lady Panthers. Game 1 was a hard fought battle, but Stryker couldn’t pull off the win. They fell 20-25 to the Rams. The second set saw a let down by the Panthers, who lost the game 12-25.
Against the Patriots, Stryker showed a bit more consistency. It wasn’t enough to secure a victory, however, as the Patriots took them down in straight sets, 25-16 and 25-14.
Allie Frisbie made 7 assists on the day. Maddie Uribes had 6 assists and 5 kills. Audra Rupp patrolled the net, making 5 kills and 3 blocks.
