Stryker Lady Panthers Drop Two In Double Header At Tinora

TINORA: April 26, 2014– The Stryker Lady Panthers traveled to Tinora on April 26 for a double header with the Lady Rams, falling in both contests; 16-5 in game one while going down in game two 15-5.

Game #1

Conner Varner went the distance in game one, throwing 5 innings, allowing 10 earned runs off of 12 hits. Varner also recorded 3 strikeouts while advancing 4 batters by walk in the loss.

In game one offensively for the Lady Panthers, Varner drove two shots into the field for a pair of doubles, while Tasha Pegorch recorded 2 singles. Conner Sullivan, Miranda Pegorch Emily Cadwell and Taylor Haines also recorded hits in the loss.

Tinora 16 – 12 – 3


Game #2

Taylor Haines took to the mound in game two, fairing no better against a powerful Lady Ram offensive lineup, allowing 11 earned runs off of 12 hits. Haines recorded 3 K’s in the game and allowed no walks.

Both Conner Sullivan and Conner Varner connected for round the base shots in the loss with Sullivan also recoding a single, while Miranda Pegorch and Sierra Walters had doubles for Stryker.

Stryker sits at 3-3 in the BBC while falling to 5-7 on the season with the double header setback.
