EDON: April 24– The Edon Bombers played host to Pettisville on a cold and windy afternoon for a BBC showdown with the visiting Blackbirds, prevailing 9-3 to move to 4-2 in the BBC.
Landon Bloir recorded the win on the mound, going the distance for 7 innings, allowing 0 earned runs in the game off of 3 hits. Bloir sat down 10 Blackbird batters in the game while giving up just walks.
Offensively for Edon on the day, Jacob Brown went 2-4 from the batter’s box along with Trevor Green, who also had a 2 for day, giving the Bombers enough offense for the victory.
Tate Kauffman took the loss for Pettisville on the mound, giving up 6 runs off of 7 hits in just 2 innings of work. Dustin Nofzinger also saw 4 innings on the mound in the loss.
