N0903P61001CSTRYKER – The blue lady Panthers of Delta did battle against the green Panthers of Delta on December 20. Both teams boasted high powered offenses and neither failed to show up as the first quarter ended 21-18 with Delta holding a slim lead. The second quarter saw more unchecked offense on both sides and the first half ended 30-37 with the visitors still holding the lead. The third quarter looked grim for the home team as they saw Delta extend the lead further, leaving the score 47-38 going into the fourth quarter. Stryker was not finished, however, and rallied with a 19 point fourth quarter to send the game to overtime, 57-57. The comeback machine ran out of gas in overtime though as Stryker was outscored 18-10 making the final score 75-67 Delta.

Conner Varner of Stryker had an astounding 30 points in the contest; scoring 18 from inside the arc, 6 from outside, and 6 from the line. Also putting up big numbers on the night were Conner Sullivan with 16 and Michaela Rupp with 11.
