PIONEER: February 10, 2014 – The Stryker Lady Panthers are renowned for a turnover creating defense. Their BBC rivals, the North Central Lady Eagles, are well aware of the Stryker strategy, and during the games of the last couple of seasons, they have found ways to lessen the blow.

February 10 was not one of those games.

The Lady Panthers forced 25 turnovers with their pressure defense, converting them into scoring opportunities that saw Stryker run away with a 62-30 score over North Central.

The senior core of Stryker did the most damage, with Conner Varner, Connor Sullivan and Christie Huston posting 25, 15 and 15 points respectively. Natasha Pegorch, Ashley Haines and Maddie Uribes each had 2 points, and Megan Graber landed a free throw.

Sabrina Pickford put in a team-high 13 for North Central, with Cady VanDeVoorde adding 6. Hannah Siekemeyer had 4 points, Allison Ryan 3, and Rachel Oxender and Makayla Hayes 2 points apiece.

SCORING BY QUARTER:
