Stryker Library’s Book Club Makes Selections For 2017

“Over Readers Anonymous Book Discussion Group,” at the Stryker Branch Library, meets in the library at 6:30 pm on a designated night each month. Why not make plans now to join in during the upcoming year? If you love to read and discuss books, you are invited to come and participate and be a part of the group. Copies of the next book to be discussed are waiting at the library desk for anyone wishing to be a part of the club. Book selections have been chosen for 2017 and are as follows:

January 23: Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper
February 27: Miss Hazel and the Rosa Parks League by Jonathon Odell
March 27: The Color of Water by James McBride
April 24: At the Edge of the Orchard by Tracy Chevalier
May 22: My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry by Fredrik Backman
June 26: Orphan #8 by Kim van Alkemade
July 24: Under the Same Blue Sky by Pamela Schoenwaldt
August 28: I Let You Go by Clare Mackintosh
September 25: The Sisters by Nancy Jensen
October 23: All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
November 13: All Rise for the Honorable Perry T. Cook by Leslie Connor
December 18: I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai
