Stryker & Montpelier Girls’ Seasons End At Liberty Center D-III District 3 Competition

LIBERTY CENTER – The Lady Panthers of Stryker and four members of the Montpelier Lady Locomotives were in the mix at the October 20 Liberty Center Division III Districts.

The Lady Panthers were eliminated from team competition with a seventh place team finish. Individual finishers in the top sixteen were awarded a pass to the next level, but the bar was set too high for Stryker and Montpelier to clear. Shi’Anna Whitman of Stryker and Lita Banks of Montpelier were the first two local ladies across the line, but their respective 24th and 25th place finishes failed to make the cut.
