STRYKER – Be it as ugly as a mud fence…a win is still a win. The Fayette Eagles brought their spotless BBC record to The Cage on February 1 to take on the Stryker Panthers in what would become a low scoring war of attrition. The Panthers slowly gnawed away at the early Fayette lead until they were able to tie the game at 26-all at the end of regulation. With their 5-0 conference mark in jeopardy, the Eagles’ Zayne Colegrove came up huge in the overtime period, landing six of his team-leading 12 points in the extra frame to lead Fayette to a 39-31 BBC win.

Backing Colegrove for the 13-3 / 6-0 Eagles was Chandler Sanford and Cole Burkholder with 8 points apiece. Logan Franks put in 5 points, Tyler Cox 4 and Justin Stoltzfus 2 points.

Parker Ruffer led all scorers with 18 points for the Panther Pack, while Hunter Clingaman had 10 points, Austin Robison a deuce and Cole Heath a free throw.
