DSCF4260 webROTARY … Terry Wieland spoke to the Stryker Rotary about his son Rob. Rob is on the active transplant list at Lutheran Hospital in Ft Wayne. Rob has been on dialysis for the last two years and receives treatments three days each week. Dialysis is keeping him alive but what he really needs is a kidney.[emember_protected custom_msg=”Full content protected for online subscribers. Subscriptions cover our costs to attend local events; bringing forth Hometown News Coverage to our communities.”] The treatments Rob is currently receiving and the medications required following the transplant surgery are very expensive. The family needs help in two separate ways; first and foremost a matching kidney must be available and second help with the medical costs. Terry is hopeful that the community will rally behind Rob to help him. Terry Wieland pictured on the right spoke as a guest of Stryker Rotarian Fred Grisier.[/emember_protected]
