Kyle Potts, Deputy Sheriff, and Zuko his K-9 partner visited the Stryker Rotary at their regular meeting. Kyle told the club that Zuko is with him round the clock living with him at his home.
Kyle also said Zuko is very protective of him and often perceives anyone who is close to Kyle as a threat. They have become a very effective team in tracking as well as drug related arrests.
The club could see that Zuko is a very high energy dog, and he is also younger than most K-9 dogs in service at just one year. The club also went outside to see Zuko in action tracking, as Kyle had set up several items for him to find.
A more somber note was the beginning of the meeting when the club held a moment of silence to honor a long-standing member, Betty Beck, who entered eternal life during the past week.
